In order to help students with career assessment and planning, Methodist College holds sessions on resume writing, interview preparation and professional dress sessions at various points throughout the semester. We also hold Career Fairs and Networking Nights that allow students to speak with potential employers. If you need assistance with applying for jobs,
building your resume, or enhancing your interview skills, come see Jordan Ticaric,
Coordinator of Student Life and Career Services, in 608 or by calling 309-671-2736.
Smoking Policy Change
Methodist College and Methodist Medical Center has been a smoke free environment since July 2007. We are 100% smoke free. This means smoking is not allowed anywhere on our campus, including buildings, grounds, parking lots, and sidewalks.
Effective April 1, 2011 the smoke free policy will now affect new hires. As of this date, Methodist will not hire individuals who use tobacco products. Employees, eligible dependents, and enrolled Methodist College students can call the American Lung Association Quit Line at 1-866-784-8937 any time between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. for assistance in quitting the tobacco habit. The service is FREE and you can call as often as you want. Discounts To Help You Quit
