Sim Center/LRC Room Scheduling

Using Outlook Web

1. Log into Outlook from the Methodist College website or Connect Me homepage
2. Click on “Calendar” - along the lower left side of the screen
3. Along the Top click the “new” button
4. The appointment screen will pop up
   1. Along the top bar select “Invite Attendees”
   2. Click on the “Required” button and the find names box will appear
   3. Add the names of all the individuals you would like to invite (make sure to select the “Required” button to add them to the list).
   4. In the “Display Name” area, type the room name (see list below), click “Find”, then click the “Required” button to add it to the list of people invited.
   5. Click “Close” once you are finished inviting individuals and the room.
5. Under “Subject”, type the Reason/Class you are coming in for.
6. Make sure your start and end time and date are correct, and then check availability.
   1. Along the top, select “Availability” to ensure the room is open at your desired time
   2. Wait until all calendars are loaded
   3. A blue area means the room is already booked at that time and you need to pick a different room or time.
7. In the body of the e-mail put the skills you will be practicing and the supplies you will need.
8. Send the appointment
9. You will receive a confirmation e-mail once your appointment is confirmed by the Sim Center/LRC staff.
10. If you need to cancel your appointment, please call the Sim Center (671-2176) or LRC (671-2136) or send an e-mail to ngill@mcon.edu

Rooms:

Both centers have equipment to practice any skills needed. The LRC is more focused towards OB, Peds, Mental Health, Community and N231. The Sim Center is more focused on the Medical/Surgical courses.
