Second-Degree Accelerated BSN Program
At Methodist College, we're proud to announce the
opening of our latest program - the Second Degree Accelerated BSN, an
evening/week-end program for working adults. This program is designed
for those who have earned a bachelor's degree in a field other than
nursing and wish to become a Registered Nurse. Upon completion of this
degree, graduates are eligible to take the NCLEX-RN exam to be licensed
as Registered Nurses.
The only one of its type in the greater Peoria area, this program
requires five consecutive semesters, including summer sessions. The
required courses and clinical experiences are only scheduled on evenings
and weekends, blending online and classroom learning for coursework,
which allows busy working adult students flexibility in their schedule.
It is also the only program of its kind that includes an onsite,
hands-on internship, providing the student real world, real life
learning.
Up to 30 students will be admitted each Fall and Spring semester.
