Faculty on the Go!!

We were saddened to say good-bye to Theresa Adelman, MSN, RN who has accepted a position at Bradley University.  We all wish her well and hope that she will visit often.

Dr. Nancy Novotny attended the 29th International Conference of Critical Thinking at Berkeley Marina, California, July 20-23, 2009.

Dr. Pat Humbles is traveling with a group of faculty researchers from UIC to Johannesburg and Soweto , South Africa, in August 2009.  They will be exploring collaboration with contacts at the University of Unisa, S.A. and University of Malawi (Kamuzu College of Nursing).

A two-day Clinical Faculty Academy is being held at ICC August 12-13, 2009.  Dr. Linda Pendergast and Ms. Deb Stark will be among the presentors at the conference.  Among the MCON faculty attendees are Paige Whitney, Andrea Scholl, Dr. Pam Ferguson, Carol Shinn, and our newest faculty member Stephanie Lampe.
