Dr. Kip Strasma currently
teaches in and directs the General Education Program at Methodist College of
Nursing. Recently developed in 2011 and approved in 2012, the program provides
nursing and health services students with a comprehensive education in general
studies (composition, art, mathematics, literature, history, religion,
philosophy, psychology, social science, political science, laboratory science,
and natural science).
Dr. Strasma teaches specifically
in the disciplines of writing, humanities, literature, philosophy, and film;
and has taught at Nova Southeastern University, Miami University, Florida
International University, Illinois Central College, and Illinois State
University.
Kip holds degrees in philosophy and English literature from Saint Louis
University and in Rhetoric and English Studies from Illinois State University.
He has served in a variety of academic and educational leadership positions
since being awarded his Ph.D |
