Information Sessions & Campus Visits

There's no better way to get a feel for our college than firsthand! That's why we encourage all prospective students to attend an information session and plan a campus visit. Most visits include a meeting with a student services staff member and a campus tour. Depending on the time of year, you may even be able to sit in on a class and meet with our professors.

Please join us for an information session which will include discussion of our various types of programs offered and a tour of East Campus:

  • Tuesday, May 15, 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. - BSHS and Gerontology Certificate
  • Thursday, May 24, 1:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. - BSN
  • Friday, June 1, 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. - BSHS and Gerontology Certificate
  • Friday, June 8, 1:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. - BSN

Campus Visits 

Campus visits will include the above mentioned discussion of our various types of programs, a tour of East Campus, and an opportunity to view our theory classes and a tour of our Learning Resource Center (nursing skills lab) which is at Methodist Medical Center.

Directions to Methodist College

I-74 West to Peoria.  Take Adams/Jefferson exit (first exit right at the end of the bridge.)  Go straight and exit ramp becomes Spalding Avenue.  (NOTE: Spalding is a one-way street heading west.)  Methodist College is on right-hand side of Spalding about ¼ block beyond stoplights at corner of Glendale & Spalding.  Turn right onto St. Mark Court. (watch for Heyde Eye Center which is on one corner of St. Mark Ct. and Methodist College is on the other corner.)

 

I-74 East to Peoria.  Take Glen Oak Avenue exit.  At stop lights at end of exit, go straight on Fayette Street to NE Perry.  Turn left on NE Perry for about 2 blocks and then turn left onto Spalding.  (NOTE: Spalding is a one-way street heading west.)    Methodist College is on right-hand side of Spalding about ¼ block beyond stoplights at corner of Glendale & Spalding.  Turn right onto St. Mark Court. (watch for Heyde Eye Center which is on one corner of St. Mark Ct. and Methodist College is on the other corner.)

 

Knoxville Avenue.  Head south on Knoxville to stoplights right by Methodist Medical Center.  Go straight and Knoxville becomes Fayette Street.  Follow Fayette Street to NE Perry.  Turn left on NE Perry; turn left onto Spalding.  Methodist College is on right-hand side of Spalding about ¼ block beyond stoplights at corner of Glendale & Spalding.  Turn right onto St. Mark Court. (watch for Heyde Eye Center which is on one corner of St. Mark Ct. and Methodist College is on the other corner.)

 

Route 29 from the North.  Follow Route 29 towards downtown Peoria where Rte. 29 becomes Jefferson Street.  Turn right onto Spalding Avenue.  (NOTE: Spalding is a one-way street heading west.)  Methodist College is on right-hand side of Spalding about ¼ block beyond stoplights at corner of Glendale & Spalding.  Turn right onto St. Mark Court.
