Priority consideration is given to applicants who are first-time freshman, and take advantage of our Early Admission deadline of December 1.

In addition to the opportunity to receive an early decision, first time freshman are eligible for eight exclusive Methodist College freshman scholarship awards, designed to reward high academic achievement and ease the transition from high school to college. All first-time freshmen are considered for these awards upon application.

Admission to Methodist College is very competitive and all academic factors are considered in evaluation of applications. To be most competitive, students should strive to achieve the highest academic scores (ACT/HS GPA) and achieve grades of “A” or “B” in English, Science and Math courses.

In some cases a personal statement, interview, and/or other documentation such as letters of recommendation may be required to complete the application file before an admissions decision can be made.

There are a limited number of transfer student spaces in each incoming class. For this reason, you are encouraged to apply early.
