CELEBRATING 125 YEARS OF ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE!

Hello Methodist College community! We hope you'll save the date and join us in celebrating the 125th anniversary of Methodist College presented by CEFCU, on September 19 and 20, 2025.

ALUMNI & FRIENDS RECEPTION

Friday, September 19, 2025 | 5pm -7pm

Methodist College Commons

Reconnect and reminisce with fellow classmates as we celebrate 125 years of Methodist College! Enjoy the atmosphere while appetizers and drinks are served. A short program will begin at 6:15 p.m. with an address from the Chancellor, Dr. Kayla Banks. Tours of the College will take place following the program. End the evening as we raise a glass to toast to the past, present and future of Methodist College.

  • $25 per ticket
  • Registration required by September 12, 2025

EDGE FUN RUN

Saturday, September 20, 2025 | 8am - 9am

Methodist College Campus

Kick off our Saturday celebration at our ninth annual EDGE Fun Run! Come together with your community to walk a 1.25K, run a 5K, or simply cheer on those who do as we all celebrate 125 years of Methodist College! All runs begin at 8am, runners and walkers will need to arrive by 7:45am. Food, drinks, and carnival activities will follow. 

EDGE Fun Run t-shirts will be available for purchase for $10.00 (cash only, limited quantity and sizes). No pre-registration required. This event is free and open to the public.

METHODIST COLLEGE CARNIVAL

Saturday, September 20, 2025 | 9am - 1pm

Methodist College Parking Lot

The 125th Anniversary Celebration will conclude with the Methodist College Carnival! The Carnival is open to the Methodist College community and all surrounding areas - we welcome everyone to join in on the fun as we wrap up our celebration! 
(The event is weather permitting. There is no rain date.)

  • FREE ADMISSION 
  • Open to the public
  • Inflatables, dunk tank and games from Fun on the Run, food trucks from Brick & Ember, Gramma Nana's Kitchen, Tom's Coffee Truck, Kona Ice, She-Pop Popcorn and Los Medranos Tacos, face painting by Colin Abernathy, balloon animals by Unique Twist and more!
