Methodist College Alumna Receives Daisy Award

Morgan Bozarth, a recent alumna of Methodist College, has been an RN for three months. During that short span of time, her impact has been huge. Here's what one of Morgan's patient said in their nomination of Morgan for the Daisy Award:

"Morgan is brand new but incredibly knowledgeable. She always took the time to address our concerns and especially made time to find each of us in the family alone and away from my mother who was the patient. Morgan did this to check on our mental health and allow us to express things we didn't want to say in front of my mom or each other. My father developed some dysfunctional coping skills but Morgan remained patient and took the time to calm him and do her best to accommodate all of his requests. Because of Morgan I know my mom received the best possible care. Also, our entire family received the best possible care because of her nursing, listening, and counseling skills combined with her outstanding compassion. Thank you Morgan for helping us through the worst time of our lives."
