Degrees and Programs


Division of Nursing 

The Pre-licensure track is for those individuals who desire to earn a BSN degree and take the licensure exam. Two tracks in the pre-licensure program are available. One is the traditional pre-licensure program for students without a prior college degree. For individuals with an earned Bachelor‘s degree, MC offers an accelerated second degree program. There is also an RN to BSN track for the RN graduate of an Associate degree or Diploma nursing program and is a two year online program.  In addition, Methodist College offers a Master of Science in Nursing - Nurse Educator program to build upon the foundation of baccalaureate education. 


Division of Health Sciences

The Bachelor of Science in Health Science degree is for those who have either completed an Associate‘s degree in a health science field and wish to broaden their education or for those student who wish to earn a traditional BSHS. The Certificate of Gerontology Program is for those with an Associate‘s degree or above who wish to prepare themselves for work with the elder adult population.


Division of Arts and Sciences

Methodist College offers a broad-based baccalaureate degree in nursing and health sciences. The general education component of study consists of those arts and sciences supportive of the student‘s major and the student's individual interests. Credit earned for nationally standardized exams for selected courses may also be transferred.
