Events & Reunion Information

Methodist Alumni Reunion

The Methodist Alumni Reunion is a great opportunity to reconnect with friends and former classmates, rediscover what Methodist means to you and build upon your legacy. All Methodist alumni are welcome to attend the annual reunion, regardless of class year. However, each year we honor the 50th anniversary class as well as those celebrating milestone anniversaries. The date for the 2017 reunion is set for July 22.

Please take the time to nominate your fellow alumni for recognition at the upcoming Alumni Reunion Luncheon. This year there are three opportunities to honor your peers, with the following awards:

  • Distinguished Alumnus Award
  • Rising Star Alumni Award
  • Service Award

Volunteer for Your Reunion Committee

Help make your reunion a success-join your reunion committee! Volunteering is a great opportunity to reach out to your classmates and fellow alumni to encourage them to attend the annual reunion luncheon. Committees from the anniversary classes (those ending in "5" or "10") are being formed, and your participation adds to the fun!

For more details or to volunteer, contact the Office of Alumni Relations at (309) 672-4766.

Celebrate Your Reunion with a Gift to Methodist College

Join your classmates in making a gift to Methodist College in honor of your reunion. Every gift to Methodist College is equally important and makes a difference. Through your contributions, Methodist College is able to ensure support for positive change. Scholarships, improved facilities for students, research, student development and technology help advance our mission of providing quality educational programs.

Your gift will support a wide range of needs:

  • Endowment Fund - Support the operation of Methodist College.
  • Student Scholarships - Ensure that students who need financial support are able to pursue their dreams.
  • Program Development - Contribute toward classroom improvements, residence hall enhancements, computer lab upgrades, and library enhancements.

If you are interested in giving your time, talent or treasures, please contact Methodist College or the Methodist Foundation to find out how you can make a difference.

President's Award Breakfast

Each spring, Methodist College hosts the President's Award Breakfast to honor our scholarship recipients throughout the academic year. The event also recognizes the many donors and supporters of the College for their generosity and belief in the value of education at Methodist. Scholarship recipients are invited to dine with their benefactors and utilize the time as an opportunity to spend time thanking our donors for all they do to help support the Methodist College community as well as their education.
