Pre-Licensure BSN FAQs

Following are some frequently asked questions about the four-year Bachelor of Science in Nursing program. If you do not find an answer to your question, please call 309-672-5513.

Can I attend part time?

Yes, a student may attend part time. All of the courses and degree requirements must be completed within seven years of beginning the program.

Do you accept transfer students?

We accept students who have completed college coursework from accredited colleges. Prospective students are encouraged to submit their transcripts along with their application for a full review of coursework to be transferred. Please see the program admission requirements for further details.

What is the application process?

Submit your application online, remit the application fee, and send your official transcripts for all coursework completed. Complete applications will be reviewed and applicants will be notified of a decision by mail.

When and where will classes be held?

Classes are held on the Methodist College campus. Methodist College uses a blended course-delivery format and some class sessions may be held online. Classes will be held most days of the week, some evenings, and some weekends, depending on enrollment.

Can I live on campus?

Yes, on-campus housing is available. The Methodist College Student Housing Complex offers spacious apartment-style living accommodations.
