Sigma International is the only worldwide International Honor Society of Nursing. Sigma promotes global health through nursing knowledge, scholarship, and a commitment to professional development. Methodist College Honor Society received notification of new chapter status on May 17, 2012. The Methodist College Phi Phi Chapter is the 499th Sigma chapter established.

It is both an honor and a privilege to be a member of an organization that represents excellence in nursing. Membership is by invitation and is extended to baccalaureate-prepared nursing students as they near program completion based on individual achievement and leadership abilities.
